Reader Tips: Keep the Bugs off Your Windshield

Use plastic wrap when trailering your boat to and from the water.

Trailering a boat can create a hard-to-remove bug slurry on the console windshield. An easy way to deal with this is to cover the windshield with plastic food wrap. Tightly seal the front and edges, and after trailering, simply pull off the wrap and the bugs. Repeat on the return trip for a bug-free windshield.
