The key to making great boats, Scout Boats maintains, is to keep making good boats better, boosting efficiency, performance, comfort and safety.

Scout, highly regarded for value and brand reputation by survey respondents, builds sport-fishing, fish-and-ski, walkaround, flats and bay boats.

It was a pioneer of reverse-shoe-box hull/deck design, and its T-top/glass enclosure is patented. It builds its boats on three advanced hull designs.

NuV3 is a convex variable-degree hull designed for performance and soft, dry rides. An Air Assist stepped hull speeds time to plane, improves handling and extends fuel economy. And the Scout Stepped Hull Technology reduces wetted surface for a faster, drier and better-performing boat, with less horsepower and increased fuel economy.

On select models, the Scout Strata-Mount extends longitudinal grid stringers through the transom to be directly integrated into the engine mount, spreading natural stresses over the entire hull for increased strength, durability and performance.

Scout is leading the charge from analog to digital, with helm touch-screen controls and handheld key fobs. A button electromechanically lifts and lowers hardtop-mounted rocket launchers to make reaching rods a breeze. Another raises the aft-facing mezzanine seat and footrest to reveal an entertainment/bait-prep station.

All part of making great boats better, according to Scout.

Forward, port and starboard seating tops fish boxes/storage compartments. In the floor is another fish box. An optional fiberglass bow table creates another entertainment area in the bow.
