Reader Tips: Homemade Scent

It's a perfect, easy way to sweeten an otherwise unscented plastic bait

Conventional soft-plastic lures can be spiced up with a little scent chamber through the careful application of a hot poker to the bottom area near the tail. The cavity created can be filled with any of the liquid fish scents available on the market, then closed off with the end of a cotton swab and a drop of Krazy Glue. It's a perfect, easy way to sweeten an otherwise unscented plastic bait.
