Spray That Salt Away

brake_line.jpg

Trailering my boat used to mean leaving it sitting for hours after soaking it with salt water – and giving the salt and corrosion a head start in its destruction on the wheels, springs and electrical components. I solved this problem by taking along a pump sprayer with at least a two-gallon capacity. I fill the sprayer with clean tap water and a few drops of dishwashing detergent. After launching, I park my trailer. Then I pump up the pressure in the sprayer and hose off the whole trailer.
