Storm debris removal continues in Louisiana

Storm debris removal continues in Louisiana

Louisiana's marine fishermen are being asked to continue reporting evidence of storm-related debris in that state's inshore and nearshore waters. A toll-free number to the Department of Natural Resources - 1-866-579-4367, and a special web-site - www.louisianamarinedebris.com, will allow observers to easily report the location of debris that has been seen, struck, or snagged. The data will be used to assess over 900 square miles of Louisiana's coastal waters and to remove the debris found within it.
