New Jersey welcomes new boat show May 1

Strictly Jersey will be held at the South Jersey Marina in Cape May, NJ.

South Jersey Marina, in Cape May, a long established and well known business in the boating community, recently announced that it will host a new event scheduled for May 1-3, 2009. 'Strictly Jersey', a brand new boat show will feature New Jersey boat dealers, manufacturers and related businesses.

According to marketing director Bob Glover, "This show is small by design and represents a new approach to making sales for the state's boating industry.  New Jersey is the heart of boating in the Mid-Atlantic region with numerous manufacturers, dealers and businesses throughout the state.  Best of all, there are thousands of serious and experienced boaters living in the region and actively participating in various forms of boating all along our coast, harbors and bays. Why not join together and promote our products to those who are truly interested in them and have the financial resources to purchase them?"

What makes this show different from others according to Glover is that, "The 'Strictly Jersey' show eliminates those things that dealers, manufacturers and customers have grown tired of at traditional events - the expense, carnival atmosphere, and large crowds of frequently unqualified prospects." Many members of the boating public in this state are beyond entry level customers.  This show will cater to those boaters who are already involved and invested in their passion.  It will give those customers a special place to view new products without the trappings, inconveniences or waiting lines that have become commonplace at most shows. It will give dealers and manufacturers a much less expensive and flexible venue to interact with the boating public.

Strictly Jersey will be held at the South Jersey Marina in Cape May, NJ.  The marina has prime road frontage along the entryway to the historic town of Cape May.  According to Mark Allen, the show's manager, "It is an accommodating facility that is ideal for this type of show.  Small by design, there will be only approximately 60 in-water spaces available and just 15,000 square feet of land display space for trailered boats, engine displays, etc. If your business is beyond targeting the entry-level, first or second time buyer, you should be here!"

Companies interested in exhibiting their boats, related products or services at 'Strictly Jersey', should contact Mark Allen, Show Manager at 609-884-2400 or email him at MAllen@SouthJerseyMarina.com.
