This line of flat-panel displays provides optimum visibility of almost any onboard electronic application, according to the manufacturer, Valhalla Enterprises, Inc. (VEI). The active-matrix color displays come in 12", 15" and 18" sizes. The screens are fully sunlight readable and dim for nighttime. They have a wide viewing angle, use on-screen controls and are compatible with analog VGA or composite video input. The displays can present electronic charting, radar, sounder, GPS, computers and video input. According to VEI, the displays are built in the USA for marine applications with shatter-resistant glass and a waterproof construction. The units range in price from $6,995 to $11,995.
