With 600 watts RMS power and 50/200 kHz frequencies, the new CVS-832 packs a lot of features into a 6.5" TFT LCD screen. It has 8 selectable ranges from 10 to 2,000 feet, and the Mix Mode helps highlight small targets. A simple rotary switch lets you change between modes, as well as range and gain settings. A split-screen display shows normal and bottom view modes, or dual frequencies. The discrimination mode expands images to better determine bottom hardness, and an A-scope displays instantaneous fish echoes and bottom detail directly beneath the boat.
