Raymarine ST6001 Plus Autopilot and G-Series Course Computer

raymarine st6001

Raymarine's ST6001 Plus Autopilot works in combination with a G-Series Course Computer with an advanced software known as Advanced Steering Technology to process heading and yaw-rate data, and to provide consistent course keeping and boat handling. The core pack's computer has a built-in gyro sensor and fluxgate compass to provide the raw data used to generate precision-heading data, which lets the autopilot "learn" the handling characteristics of the specific vessel. The ST6001 Plus features an LCD display that lets the user monitor important navigation data from other integrated units through Raymarine's integration system, SeaTalk, and can be flush-mounted. The ST6001 Plus autopilot has a suggested retail price of $795, while core packs start at $1,419 and drive units start at around $900. Raymarine, Nashua, NH; (800) 539-5539;
