The KVH TracVision G6 Antenna uses integrated Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) technology to provide positive satellite identification, eliminating the need for complex controls. The unit's 24-inch antenna, contained in a 26-inch radome, will allow boats cruising 100 miles offshore to receive DirecTV broadcasts. The TracVision G6 also uses KVH's GyroTrac sensor, which provides earth-reference data for faster satellite acquisition and reacquisition. The unit comes with a universal interface to connect it with all other onboard electronics that require a heading device, including autopilots, charting systems and radars.
