World Fishing Network makes a special Father’s Day offer to anglers

"I'd Rather Be Fishing with my Dad" Contest Offers Anglers a Florida Fishing Trip With WFN's Mark Melnyk and his Father

World Fishing Network is offering a chance for anglers around the country to share photos of themselves fishing with their fathers, and a chance to win a special expenses paid Florida fishing trip for two with a WFN show host.

As North America’s only 24-hour fishing lifestyle channel, WFN knows that any serious angler would always rather be fishing with their dad.  To celebrate Father’s Day, WFN will offer one lucky angler and his or her dad the chance to win a fishing trip to Florida with WFN’s Reel Road Trip host Mark Melnyk and his father, famed Canadian sportscaster Jim Van Horne, in the “I’d Rather be Fishing with my Dad” contest.

To enter, anglers must submit a photo of themselves fishing with their dad at www.WFN.TV/dad or at the WFN Facebook page.  The contest, which is open to all residents of North America (except Quebec), closes on June 22, the day after Father’s Day.  WFN will also offer a photo gallery of photos on its website at http://www.wfn.tv/dad/gallery.php

The winner will receive round-trip transportation for two people to Florida, three-nights hotel accommodation, $100 spending money, exclusive WFN gear pack, fishing gear and the opportunity for highlights of the grand prize trip to appear on WFN’s Reel Road Trip.

“We know that many anglers consider fishing with dad as the most memorable moments of their lives,” said Chris Doyle, Vice President of Marketing for WFN.  “We couldn’t think of a better way to help anglers celebrate Father’s Day than offering them a memorable fishing experience with their dad.”
