Tohatsu Outboards and Nissan Marine have teamed up with Big Sky Branding to create online stores for branded merchandise. The stores are now live, as announced today by Kurt Gardner, National Sales Manager for Tohatsu America Corp. (TAC), US and Canadian distributor for both brands.
The new websites www.tohatsustore.com and www.nissanmarinestore.com provide Tohatsu and Nissan Marine dealers as well as consumers the ability to order from an assortment of branded promotional items. Big Sky Branding, a Dallas based promotional products company, owns and manages the entire operation, including site management, order processing and fulfillment under license from TAC.
Mr. Gardner said the sites include a good variety of branded apparel, caps, motor covers and “fun stuff” ranging from key rings and drink huggers to travel mugs and rolling coolers. “We’re pleased that recognition of the Tohatsu and Nissan Marine brands has reached a point where there is enough of a demand for supporting products that the on-line store became a necessity.”
Both Tohatsu and Nissan Marine brands offer outboards from 115 to 2 hp, with the 115-40 models using Tohatsu’s TLDI (two stroke low pressure direct injection) technology and the 30 to 2 featuring four- strokes.
