Tibor Reels Wins IGFA World Record Achievement Award

Tibor Reels has been honored with the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) World Record Achievement Award for setting the most world records on their tackle in the Fly Reel division for 2007.  This marks the fourth First Place award for Tibor Reels, with 53 new world records established last year.
 
Company founder and master reel designer Ted “Tibor” Juracsik accepted the award at a ceremony at the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum in Dania Beach, Florida (www.igfa.org).  Mr. Juracsik thanked the IGFA and “all the anglers who believe in our products.” 
 
Ted Juracsik introduced his first Billy Pate Fly Reels in 1976, followed by Tibor Reels in 1995 and more recently the TiborLight CL and Tibor QuickChange series.  His latest innovation, the award-winning Tibor SpeedHandle Spool, was chosen “Best New Product in Saltwater Gear” at the 2007 FlyFishing Retailer Show in Denver.  Tibor Reels also offers The Push Pole Caddy and the LineMaster Line Management System.
