Reef Rescue rally set for April 17

Reef Rescue is attempting to pass legislation that would prohibit potting on the state's artificial reefs

Reef Rescue and the NJ Outdoor Alliance have set April 17 as the date for their first buffet dinner rally. It will be held at Martell’s Tiki Bar Restaurant on the Point Pleasant Boardwalk. Reef Rescue is attempting to pass legislation that would prohibit potting on the state’s artificial reefs that were constructed with federal sportfishing grants and funds donated by anglers and divers. The NJOA is an alliance of the state’s fishermen, hunters and trappers working together to provide the power of a million outdoorsmen on legislative issues. The Alliance played a big part in upsetting an unfriendly and well-financed state senator, and has created a sportsman’s caucus in the state legislature while also providing full time lobbying help for vital issues.  For rally tickets and information email reefrescue@yahoo.com, or peterg@njoutdooralliance.org
