In the first week or so of every month, the LSU Ag Center, in conjunction with the La. Sea Grant, publishes “Lagniappe” – a fisheries newsletter. While some of it consists of freshwater topics, there are usually several on saltwater species. A monthly seafood recipe (Louisiana style!) is also included. The newsletter is in Adobe Acrobat PDF format and can be accessed at www.seagrantfish.lsu.edu/resources/lagniappe/2009. Once you get it, add it to your list of “favorites”. If you live anywhere on the Gulf coast, you WILL become a regular viewer!
