Salt Water Sportsman is proud to announce the schedule for the 23rd year of its highly acclaimed National Seminar Series, presented by Sperry Top-Sider. It’s regarded as the nation’s longest-running and most popular educational seminar on recreational fishing tactics and techniques.

The amount of pertinent, cutting-edge information on where and how to catch more and larger game fish – inshore, nearshore and offshore – within a Seminar Series region has been the backbone of the program’s success. Hosting the tour is George Poveromo, editor at large of SWS and host of George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing on ESPN2. Poveromo will share the stage with fellow SWS editors and national pros, including John Brownlee, Gary Caputi, Barry Gibson, Doug Pike, Mike Marsh, Don Hammond, Dr. Mitchell Roffer, Harry Vernon III, Trey Rhyne, Jimmy Price, Bouncer Smith and others.

“One of the big things that sets the Seminar Series apart is the elaborate visual support that backs the individual sessions,” says Poveromo. “To support the key points we make on stage, informative visuals, video footage, line art, and images of fish, action and rigging appear on twin 10-foot by 10-foot screens flanking our teaching teams.

“No two shows are alike: We have to tear down our visuals after each seminar and re-create them for the next city.”
