EdgeWater Introduces the 320 Center Console

Known as a premier builder of family-oriented center consoles, crossover and express models, EdgeWater Power Boats will unveil its new 320 Center Console officially at the 2015 Miami International Boat Show on February 12-16, 2015.

The EdgeWater 320 Center Console is equipped with twin Yamaha F300 four-stroke outboards for reliable, fuel-efficient power. Ideal for family fishing and water-sports adventures, it features a custom-made, fully integrated hardtop with six rod holders, two spreader lights, instrument box and aft skylight, standard. Its innovative new “ClearView” custom tempered-glass windshield provides the driver with unobstructed sightlines. The spacious walk-in console boasts plenty of headroom, storage, full head, and sink with pull-out shower.

Owners can personalize the 320CC with a wide range of quality options, including a choice of hull colors and the latest Garmin electronics. The fiberglass leaning post is available with stainless steel freshwater sink, pull-out shower, Corian countertop, cutting board, storage drawers, rod holders, adjustable flip-bolster helm seats, electric grill, refrigerator, 110-volt inverter, and 60-gallon baitwell.

“The 320CC has all the best attributes of our successful 318CC, along with next-generation technology,” said EdgeWater Power Boats President Peter Truslow.

With EdgeWater’s proprietary SPI (Single Piece Infusion) construction process, vinylester resin

is vacuum infused into the builder’s grid structures and the hull laminate in one step. By infusing them together, resin molecules in the grid harden at exactly the same time as

the resin in the fiberglass laminate, making it bond as one piece. SPI achieves a strength-to- weight ratio that is greater than open-molded, polyester boats, according to laboratory test results provided by Owens Corning. When combined with the sea keeping ability of EdgeWater’s variable deadrise deep-V hulls, SPI technology produces better handling, performance, fuel efficiency and range than other production boats of the same size, length and power.
