The Herman Lucerne Backcountry Fishing Tournament honors the memory of the most knowledgeable anglers of Everglades National Park since its inception. Through the efforts of a volunteer committee of avid Everglades anglers, this event features a catch-and-release competition with many prizes. This year a BackCountry boat manufactured by Maverick Boat Company will be won by one of our anglers by RAFFLE. Each angler will be automatically entered in the raffle. This backcountry event gives anglers the chance to fish and enjoy the beautiful Everglades National Park. This Year Everglades National Park will become the benefactor of funds raised by this event.
