| The A2 Aviator flashlight from SureFire offers two useful degrees of illumination in one compact, durable package. The 51/2″ light uses two lithium batteries to power a high-output incandescent lamp and three LEDs. A two-stage switch allows the user to light just the LEDs, which come in a choice of red, blue, green or white – the red prevents the loss of night vision. The incandescent light, activated either by fully depressing the push-button switch or by twisting the tailcap, produces a bright 50 lumens of white light for 60 minutes.
