Penn’s new International V IGFA rod series includes 9 models ranging from a 6′ 10″, 12-lb.-class light-tackle stick to a 7′ 8″, 130-lb.-class bent-butt design. The rods are based on light-yet-powerful fiberglass blanks with a lustrous black finish and handwound, double-layered, epoxy-bounded wrappings. Each model is finished with AFTCO roller guides and tiptop, and features a detachable, machined-aluminum butt with double-locking aluminum hood for secure reel attachment.
