Columbia’s new Powerdrain makes a great choice for fly-anglers who need the comfort and support of a traditional-style running shoe. This model is completely drainable and can perform on various surfaces in and out of the water. The Powerdrain features a stretch-nylon-bungee lace system that allows for quicker tightening, an interior heel cup for added comfort and support, a hydrophobic upper to bead off water, and a perforated foam underlay to help the shoes dry quickly and let feet breathe. Also, the footbed is fully drainable, the midsole has drainable ports in the heel and forefoot, and a siped outsole provides extra traction on wet surfaces. $95; columbia.com.
