If you fish anywhere near the surf or anyplace cold and rainy, then staying warm and dry becomes the difference between a good day and a miserable experience – whether or not you catch fish. Simms created the Surf Pullover especially for these conditions, and it works like armor against the elements.
Put simply, this pullover is waterproof, watertight and breathable – that says it all. It’s made from a stretch-twill three-layer TriLam waterproof yet breathable fabric with SuperGlide neoprene around the inner cuffs, neck and waist. This material not only helps to keep water out, but it also aids in putting it on and taking it off. The cummerbund-style waist has a drawstring adjustment to keep you dry, and the special double-cuff designed sleeves, with an inner neoprene guard and an outer Velcro cuff, prevent water from collecting at your wrists. The neoprene collar affords a full range of head movement while keeping water from running down your neck. There are also reflective panels on both arms, just in case.
The Surf Pullover comes in blue or safety orange in sizes S to XXL and retails for $199.95. For more information, write to Simms at P.O. Box 3645, Bozeman, MT 59772; call 406-585-3557; or visit www.simmsfishing.com.
