Fly Hive Storage System

Many tiers keep materials in cluttered bins or scattered on top of their tying desks. But Fly Hive Products is making it easier than ever to get organized.

Many tiers keep materials in cluttered bins or scattered on top of their tying desks. But Fly Hive Products is making it easier than ever to get organized.

The Fly Hive Storage System is comprised of two major parts - a set of heavy-gauge vinyl bags and a padded carrying case. The heavy-duty gusseted bags are see-through and have a Velcro closure that runs its entire length. Each one has a plastic stabilizer about 1/8 inch thick that keeps it standing vertically like a file folder. When the bag is closed tightly, pressure holds its contents firmly in place. Tiers can use them to store a variety of materials on both sides of the stabilizer. The Fly Hive is also a good place to keep your fly boxes, lines, reels and other gear.

Fly Hive's padded carry case acts as a file cabinet for the bags but folds down for easy storage. The case features double carrying handles, a shoulder strap and one pocket across the front to keep personal items handy. It's also the perfect size to carry on an airplane; if you're planning to tie flies while traveling, you can put everything you need for each recipe into a separate file bag.

The Fly Hive retails for $99.99 and includes eight large file bags (12 1/2 inches by 12 1/2 inches) and two small ones (6 inches by 6 inches). Additional bags can be ordered.
