Bottomless Pit Rolling Duffel

The Bottomless Pit duffel allows you to pack everything...

Traveling with all your gear can be a hassle. Many of us carry separate bags for our clothes, tackle and of course our rods. Several companies make bags that can accommodate everything you need to bring on a fishing trip. But Simms’ new Bottomless Pit Rolling Duffel has a massive amount of room, and it’s built with the same attention to detail that has become the company’s hallmark.

The Bottomless Pit duffel allows you to pack everything – clothes, gear, cameras and even rods – into one rolling bag. It’s made from durable ballistic nylon and 420 pack-cloth on the outside and a synthetic pack-cloth on the inside. It features a cryptlike horizontal opening with a zippered magnetic closure. Inside, the duffel has numerous easy-access storage compartments. It also comes with a rod tube and a water-resistant boot bag. The exterior has zippered storage, along with compression straps to keep it all together, and the bag’s design prevents it from tipping over when left on end.

The Bottomless Pit Rolling Duffel currently comes in an 80-cubic-inch model that holds four-piece rods or a 135-cubic-inch model that can hold three-piece rods. They retail for $329.95 and $379.95, respectively.
