Reef Dancing, Bimini Style
By
Saltwater Sportsman Staff
Updated: August 14, 2012
Reef King:
By fishing live baits back in the slick, you can often elicit a strike from a large king mackerel like this one.
Flag Fishing:
Yellowtail snapper are the mainstay of Bimini reef-fishing, and large fish are the norm rather than the exception.
Land Of Giants:
Groupers, like this goliath, abound on the reefs around Bimini.
Big Mack
: Cero mackerel often appear in chum slicks and will take bait or lures.
Mixed Bag
: A cooler stocked with a variety of reef fish, like grouper, yellowtail and mutton snapper, promises fine dining ahead.
