Drop the Weight

I’ve found that the plastic clevises normally used for interchangeable blades on spinnerbaits can be used to make strong and inexpensive slip-sinker rigs. Simply slide the line through the clevis and then snap the eye of the sinker into the clip. The rig allows for quick weight changes without having to cut the line, plus the clevis will release a snagged sinker, allowing the rig to pull free without breaking the line.
