Costa Del Mar adds Man o War to core collection

The new Man o War frame style will be available in retail outlets in June 2007

Costa Del Mar, the premium polarized sunglass brand of choice for outdoor adventurers, has added the Man o War sunglasses to its core collection, accompanying the Frigate and Osprey already available in retail outlets.

The Frigate, Osprey and now the new Man o War, the largest frame size of the three, all feature easily removable side shields that provide maximum protection against wind, dust and glare, giving sports enthusiasts a new advantage over their environment.

The side shields guard against back light, reducing the glare of sunlight from behind, and allows anglers to focus more clearly on what’s in the water in front of them. Costa Del Mar developed an innovative co-injection technology to allow the side shields to be easily taken on and off, giving wearers options to apply in any outdoor environment.

All three styles are available in black, shiny tortoise and silver, and lens options span the full palette of COSTA 400 or 580 glass or optical-grade CR-39 polarized offerings. The double-injected Megol® nose pads prevent slippage due to perspiration and the TR-90 plastic frame and integral hinge allow for optimal comfort and fit. The new Man o War frame style will be available in retail outlets in June 2007 and will retail from $129 to $229.
