Brown-Bag It

st_tip3_220x301.jpg

I use a small, brown paper bag to get chunks of chum down deep. I cut nugget-size pieces of bait, and then I place those chunks inside a paper bag along with a handful of small rocks. After I close the bag and tie the end shut with a long strand of line, I drop the bag over the side. Once it hits the bottom, I make a few strong upward pulls on the line, which causes the stones to break through the bottom of the soaked paper bag and releases the bait chunks right near my rig.
