The new 42-foot Flybridge Convertible from Riviera is a finely styled sport fishing boat suitable for comfortable cruising. It features a large master stateroom forward with private head and full shower, two hanging lockers and queen walkaround berth with storage beneath. A triple-bunk guest stateroom to starboard features side-by-side bunks with storage below and an upper berth outboard. A head and shower are located just forward of the guest quarters on the starboard side. The galley is two steps down from the salon floor and features a two-burner cooktop, dishwasher drawer, microwave convection oven, 12-volt DC/AC two-door refrigerator and storage.
The salon comes in two layouts. Both have an L-shaped settee with pull-out berth underneath to port and along the aft bulkhead. One layout features a large table and an L-shaped lounge wrapping around the front starboard side of the salon, while the other layout has a longer counter and cabinets along the starboard side, plus an entertainment cabinet along the starboard, forward bulkhead. The 42 is powered by standard twin 343-hp Cummins C480 diesel engines with electronic controls and comes with an Onan EQD 11.5 kW generator. A roomy bridge with L-shaped lounge to starboard and full-length bench along the port side with two helm chairs behind the console make for a very comfortable bridge area.
