The all-new Sportsman 20 from Bayshore Boats plays on the success of the company’s Carolina Bay 20 Flats Skiff, with some innovative design changes. It’s built from the bottom up to provide a versatile fishing platform on bay and nearshore waters. Construction is vinyl resin layup over stitched biaxial and quadriaxial mat, with Klegecell and ATC foam core. Multiple molds – it’s a three-piece hull mold and four-part liner – result in classy lines featuring a tumblehome stern, a rolled-over cockpit coaming and center console with built-in toe kick. In addition to a poling platform, the Sportsman 20 is available with a custom T-top. Options also include teak toe rail and cockpit sole. The flared, Carolina-style bow promises a dry, smooth ride. Fore and aft live wells are standard, and there is under-gunwale storage for eight rods up to 12 feet long.
