Featuring propeller pockets that reduce draft to just three feet, three inches, the 44′ Cavileer is a molded, hand-laid, semi-custom convertible designed by Cavileer and renowned naval architectural engineer Donald L. Blount & Associates. The prop pockets reduce shaft angle, which eliminates vibration and improves propeller efficiency. Powered by the standard, twin Caterpillar C-12 700-hp engines, the convertible has a proposed cruising speed of 32 knots, topping out at 36.
