Blue Jean Fender Protector

blue_jean.jpg
To protect my fenders and prevent them from getting stained and scuffed, I use the legs from old pairs of jeans. I simply place the fender in the jeans leg and cut the length to fit, leaving a bit of extra at the top to fold the material over. With the material folded over, I cut a small slot to accommodate the eye on the fender where I tie the line, which also holds the jeans leg in place. When the jean leg gets worn or dirty, I replace it.- Randy Atkins, Warrington, Pennsylvania
