BLACK BREAKER: Pullen, left, submitted his tuna for a world record.

Matt Pullen of Hampton, New Hampshire, caught a pending all-tackle world-record blackfin tuna in April while fishing Florida’s Marathon Hump. The fish tipped an IGFA-certified scale at 49.4 pounds, 3.6 pounds heavier than the current record. Pullen took the tuna with a pinfish on 30-pound line.
