Bass Pro Shops is teaming up with its customers to help in the tsunami relief efforts. The company has already donated water, food and clothing to the victims, and now it’s kicking off the Bass Pro Shops Tsunami Relief Challenge at all of its stores, through its catalog call center, and through its web site beginning Sunday, January 16th and continuing through the end of the month. Customers of Bass Pro Shops will be able to make donations at store locations by picking up combinations of $1 and $5 donation cards at every cash register and customer service counter.
Donations can also be made by calling the catalog call center at 1-800-BASS-PRO and online at www.basspro.com. Bass Pro Shops will match $0.50 of every $1.00 donated by customers up to $25,000 and 100% of the money collected will go to the American Red Cross International Response Fund to be used in the tsunami relief efforts.
