Last week several anglers were trying for Bones, but as conditions would have it, the sun was hiding all day long. I decided to get back on the boat and pole on the flats and instead of sight fishing, just do some blind casting from the casting platform on the bow. It worked wonderfully as the anglers caught for the first time, some new species, at least it was to them anyway. We landed some nice sized White Goatfish, they were quite eager to bite and we even came across schools of them. We only landed three fish, but the day was saved from being a fishless one.
