5-30-08 Lake Borgne the place to be. The Reds and trout were chasing mullet all up and down the shore line today many hookups. green and brown large flies and light blue and white flies were on the menu today. Less wind today allowed us to get out and hunt for Trippletails only spotted one and he didnt want to play. so we headed into the marsh ponds but found dirty water must be some river water locked in the marsh because the water in the lake was very green and clean. The early morning bite on the flats is on now, with the water warming up this should also bring in the Trippletails.
