Angling Innovations’ Fly Safe

The innovative Fly Safe will safely carry up to 32 2- to 3-inch flies, sized on hooks from #12 to 5/0, with no possibility of crushed or matted feathers.

There are just about as many ways to store flies as there are to tie them, but one of the most unique we’ve seen is the Fly Safe, created by Angling Innovations after consulting with a number of fly fishermen around the world.
Small enough to fit in a shirt or vest pocket, the innovative Fly Safe will safely carry up to 32 2- to 3-inch flies, sized on hooks from #12 to 5/0, with no possibility of crushed or matted feathers. That’s because each fly is held vertically in place by a unique rib mechanism. These ribs are staggered in the lid and base to allow easy closure and access to all flies without damage, and are raised to prevent water damage that results from rain or rinsing the flies at the end of the day.
The Fly Safe is as tough as its name suggests. The box has an injection-molded lid and base and features a durable full-length piano hinge with a positive, intrinsic locking closure that’s easy to operate. No clips, no foam, no rust, no adverse effect on hook sharpness. Flies will not blow out in 40 mph winds or dislodge from place when dropped from as high as 4 feet.
