Captain Jim Ross grew up chasing fish in Central Florida and has been a full time guide here for the past 14 years. He has been the host of his own radio show for 13 years and has been involved with over 40 television related fishing shows over the past ten years because of his knowledge of this fishery. Capt. Jim loves to see his clients having fun and wants them all to "Catch a memory!" which also happens to be the name of his current Saturday morning radio show which broadcasts between 8:05 and 9:00 am on WMEL 1300 am in Cocoa, Florida.

Captain Jim specializes in light tackle sight fishing for a variety of inshore and offshore species. Whether you're after tailing redfish in the Mosquito Lagoon or giant tarpon and cobia in the Atlantic Ocean, Captain Jim Ross is the guy to lead you to catch your next memory. Capt. Jim is on the Skeeter Boat/Yamaha motor national fishing team and currently runs the 2250 bay model with a 250 horsepower SHO (super high output) 4-stroke motor.
