For ballyhoo on my dredge I make up 12" lengths of # 8 wire with small coastlock snap swivels on the end. Then I use Guatamalla rigged med ballys and just snap ... -

I generally use a mix of rubber and natural baits.

We were going to just pop her her off till she came boatside and decided she needed to get a picture. Biggest one I ever caught.
