PWS Eco-Charters began in 2000, concentrating on salmon with our smaller boat, the "Chinook". After retiring from the National Weather Service in 2003, the business moved into fishing for both bottom fish, salmon and pelagic rockfish and lingcod. We put our clients first and have a new, state-of-the-art, CG inspected, fast boat...the "Eye of the Storm", top of the line gear and lots of experience around the waters of Prince William Sound. We know the area and we know fish.

Our boat, the "Eye of the Storm" is a tunnel hull vessel based on the Hickman Sled design. It is fully beachable, fast, inspected for up to 12 passengers and 2 crew, and equipped with the latest gear and electronics. We have a large, enclosed head (marine bathroom) and can fish both from the bow and stern. Our power comes from three 300 hp Suzuki engines. We boast not only Furuno's Navnet 3D system, but the MaxSea software as well. The boat cruises at 30 kts, allowing us more time to actually fish.
