Light tackle saltwater flats and near-shore fishing guide service on Florida's east central coast. We provide both fly and spin fishing charters on the inshore waters of the Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River Lagoon, and the Banana River Lagoon, and near-shore charters on the coastal waters outside Port Canaveral and Ponce De Leon Inlets. We also provide paddle fishing charters in the Banana River Lagoon's No Motro Zone and other backwaters. We sight cast to redfish, black drum, and sea trout inshore, and tarpon, cobia, and kingfish near-shore along the beach. All less than one hour from the Orlando theme parks.
Mosquito Coast Fishing Charters prides itself in providing quality guided fishing trips and outdoors adventures for its clients. As a life long Florida native and an experienced fishing guide, I will do my best to provide you with a quality experience, regardless of your skill level.
We'll be fishing from my 1995 Maverick 17' Master Angler (Three Quarter Time), which was custom build and designed for shallow water flats fishing. It is fully equipped with polling and casting platforms, two oversized live bait and release wells, a 6-inch hydraulic jack plate and trim tabs. A 115 Yamaha Pro V Salt water series engine powers Three Quarter Time with a remote control Minn Kota Riptide trolling motor for sneaking up on the fish. I also have a VHF radio, Furno 600L color sounder, and a Garmin 126 GPS for electronics.
Captain Tom serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Guides Association, and he currently writes for three fishing publications and is an active member of the Florida Outdoor Writers Association.
