Why does Mr. Julylia recommend using a 6 foot rod? We have good success using 4 foot rods. Seems like a 6 foot long rod would put a lot of load on the rod holder and gunnel.
Is there a missing step/picture? How does one go from the picture showing a haywire twist with a loop on the end extending out from the bait to the single leader wire shown at the end? What and where is that connection?
