I'm reckon Dougs got it right. Shark Bay is well below the halfway point of what is a very big state (2.5 million kms in area and 20,000+kms coastline length) hence the southwest. It's not till you get to Coral Bay and points north that your truly in the North West.
Does anyone have a picture of a Yo-Zuri L-Jack lure? I am trying to verify what I have...my lures are about 10' with a metal deep diving lip. The lip has Yo-Zuri stamped on it. Thank you for any help.

From an admitted rookie, please tell me what the mate (or anyone else) did wrong, other than the obvious lack of flotation devices, and the aforementioned tail rope.... in other words, should anything else have been done to have handled the fish most safely? And you can assume I'm grilling him afterward. Thanks.
