Still a little intimidated by the Bimini Twist? No worries. A great alternative (and one of my personal favorites) is the Triple Surgeon's knot. Simple and fast, it's a good choice when you need longer double lines because it doesn't require two people, as the Bimini often does. The compact silhouette of this knot makes it a favorite when fly-lining baits or jigging - anytime the knot needs to travel smoothly through the guides. Below is a video showing how to tie the knot:
