Reader Tips: Plunger Boat Cover Support

Two plunger heads, one on either end of a properly sized dowel, make the perfect support for a bridge tarp.

Two plunger heads, one on either end of a properly sized dowel, make the perfect support for a bridge tarp to keep rainwater from puddling. Wrap one side of a length of hook-and-loop tape around the dowel, and stick the other side on the boat to hold the support upright. This contraption will not mar the floor, is easy on the canvas cover and is easy to store.
