Reader Tips: Neat Cleat

The cleats hold the anchor rope firmly and make it a lot easier to anchor in any position

This is a system I use to anchor my 14-foot boat. I attached one standard cam cleat (normally used on sailboats) to the front of my boat and another to the back. The cleats hold the anchor rope firmly and make it a lot easier to anchor in any position, regardless of where I am in the boat, allowing me to adjust the anchor without tying it off.
