What happens when a boat company is founded on the highest principles of integrity, a quest for quality, and gracious customer service? Certainly, in Pursuit’s case, that’s a formula for its success, and it’s reflected here by survey results that rank brand reputation, construction and customer service as Pursuit’s highest attributes.

The company continues to grow market share and expand its lines with increasingly luxurious models for the well-heeled, and seriously fishable vessels for those who like to relax on a cruise or wield a trusty tuna stick.

Spanning the market with center consoles from 24 feet (C238) to offshore machines exceeding 40 feet (S408 Sport), Pursuit builds its boats for those seeking excellence in quality, flavored with extreme fishability and luxury.

All-fiberglass construction is de rigueur, but Pursuit was one of the first to retool its lines for composite construction — in some cases, right up to the all-glass construction of its dual console and infusion-bonded windshield systems integrated smoothly into their tops. One of the first to recognize the expanding market for luxury fishers, Pursuit was early in the game to include convertible cockpit seats that fold into the coamings or transom in a flash. Performance features like centerline pad at the transom enhances planing and speed while ensuring solid flow to the props. Waterproof wiring and manganese chrome over bronze through-hulls are additional marks of Pursuit’s commitment to quality.

S 328 Sport

Take Pursuit’s already popular 310 Sport, beef up its fishability without losing cruise-to-the-dinner-club excellence, and you’ll get the point of the S328.

Framed as a center console fisher, it boasts a bevy of rod holders, including optional rocket launchers on the hardtop and rod stowage belowdecks. Pursuit posted a livewell in the port transom and designed access to the spacious swim platform on the starboard. An optional portside boarding door gives convenient access from dock or dive ladder. Face-to-face seating in the cockpit can stow away for fishing, and cocktail tables are fit to the deck for entertaining. It’s at the helm that the S328 gives its command performance, exhibiting the touch of an offshore boatman. Dual displays show all the navigation and fish-finding power, and the hardtop is set to receive radar and outriggers if you choose. Adding grace to the station are the custom extruded powder-coated supports that are beautifully integrated with the hardtop. For the chosen crew, a dual seat at the helm is divided, giving the skipper and a passenger individual choices of seated or standing positions.

Forward of the helm, a lounge seats two or three, and wraparound coamings and cushions complete the circle of conversation.

Pursuit adds still more luxury belowdecks with a china head, seating for two and a convertible berth that makes long offshore trips possible.
