Madyson Darner is an 8 year old angler who is well known in our fishing community. For those of you who don’t know this little angel, you are missing out.
Madyson is currently undergoing treatment for an inoperable brain tumor. Due to the location of the tumor, and her young age, a dual course of chemotherapy agents taken over 18 months is her only treatment plan. The tumor has caused a secondary condition of Hydrocephalus (water on the brain) causing her to have a shunt that she will live the rest of her life with to help drain the fluid from her head. She is a great girl with many interests, including fishing! Her and her family could use our help.
The Outback Crab Shack and Hook the Future will be hosting a kids’ fishing derby on the docks! Entry is only $25 per team (1 child and 1 adult). Every child will receive a rod and reel (while supplies last)! All prizes will be given away in a kids’ only raffle.
