Video: Shark Feeding Frenzy Closes Beaches

50 or more sharks were attacking fish on the surface in the footage from Australia

A rarely-seen feeding frenzy of blacktip whaler sharks, bronze whaler sharks and tuna was caught on video off Perth Australia Monday, as reported in The Australian.

Apparently, the sheer number of sharks and their proximity to the coast led officials to close local beaches, but according to experts they were “primarily fish eaters and not particulary dangerous.”
