Pure Fishing names Todd Hoskins to Chief Marketing Officer post

Hoskins brings wealth of experience in marine and consumer goods to industry-leading tackle manufacturer

Pure Fishing CEO Terry Carlson announced today the company's hiring of Todd Hoskins, a veteran of the marine and consumer goods industries, to the position of Chief Marketing Officer.
 
Hoskins' responsibilities as Chief Marketing Officer will include leading the Pure Fishing marketing organization by providing strategic direction and execution in the marketplace to enhance the company's brand positioning; marketing communications and field marketing organizations.
 
"We're excited to add a person such as Todd, with a wealth of experience and knowledge in directing the marketing functions for our industry-leading brands, to the Pure Fishing family," Carlson said. "The relevance of his brand- and industry-specific experience is a strong benefit in his Pure Fishing role."
 
Prior to joining Pure Fishing, Hoskins served most recently as Executive Vice President of Marketing for Raymarine, Inc., in Merrimack, NH. There he was responsible for marketing the leading brand in the recreational marine electronics market. During his tenure on the leadership team, Raymarine experienced a significant market growth, revitalized and updated its brand identity and architecture as well as gained significant share of voice through advertising, point-of-purchase materials, web initiatives and grassroots marketing.
 
Before joining Raymarine in 2003, Hoskins served as Vice President of Consumer Marketing (U.S.) for the Polaroid Corporation where he directed the marketing efforts for a segment of business as well as stints in the marketing arms at the vice-president level with Danaher Corporation and Vermont Corporation.

A graduate of Lincoln Memorial University with bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), Hoskins will relocate from New Hampshire to Pure Fishing's headquarters in Columbia, South Carolina and will assume his new position on October 13.
